Lately i've been bored as hell.
So i've been thinking I should start doing MMO reviews. There are a fair number of MMO reviewers out there already, but honestly i've never really liked them that much.
Usually the reviewer is a WoWtard, not an MMO gamer, or puts a casual twist on their reviews.
MMOhut is my favorite for their "first impressions", simply because the dude does a LOT of them, is humorous, and does a pretty good job of showing a games beginnings. But he's a complete casual gamer, and his reviews get kind of repetitive if you watch enough of them over a short period of time.
Only thing holding me back is a lack of idea of what to review first. Or rather, which few. Since I plan on writing a few before I start releasing them (one reason, to see if I enjoy reviewing, other reason is so I have 'reserves' so I can release reviews at a decent rate, even when I don't feel like writing one at the time).
Tried narrowing it down to only do MMOs i've already played.
That limited the list to...over a hundred MMOs.
Or ones i've played for a fair amount of time.
...about 50.
Hmm hmm decisions decisions. Maybe it'd be best to try my darndest to find some MMOs i've never played before.
Also deciding to do text reviews, video reviews or both is conflicting as well.
My computers violent hate for recording programs is a main reason for me not jumping all over video reviews. (FRAPs makes any game I record lag. Even a low-end game like CSS).
