Tales of the abyss

I've been looking around for copies of Tales of the abyss. I borrowed it from a friend, and I gave it back at about 20 hours in.

The game is ridiculously rare in Canada. It's 40 bucks used on ebay and that's the cheapest I can get.

One day (By that, I mean yesterday), I found a copy on craigslist. It was going for 10 dollars. The ad was made less than 3 hours ago. I sent him a mail. He said he still had it. He asked if I wanted a copy, just email him back. I said I'll take it, and even arranged a schedule to meet at a skytrain station in Vancouver on Friday. I even gave him the phone number, and was excited for once. I was going to get a deal of the fucking century. Then, he backed out at the last moment.

PROTIP: Read this backwards. From bottom to the top.

I will be removing this game from craigslist as I have decided not to sell it. Sorry.

Ok, that sounds fine. 2:30 right in front of the station. My cell number is 604-000-0000.

How about 22nd Street station? Let me know.

2:30PM this Friday would be alright. I'm also available on Wed & Thurs.

Since you're in New Westminister, can you meet up at Braid station? If not, tell me any skytrain stations you can meet up in.

And does 2:30 work for you?

yup, at least you didnt lost any money.

Anyway, not to be a jerk or anything, why not just get it from a less legal source ? Or is your ps2 unmodded?

theres just some games you want a physical copy of... i guess for braybruu there, its tales of the abyss.

i want physical copies (new if i could) of Hotel dusk and Dj max, Hotel dusk is impossible to find new in australia at an acceptable price, Dj Max is impossible find fullstop. online i'm finding them to be around 70-80+

Surprisingly, the times I've actually looked for a physical copy of a "hard to find" game I've found it. Hell, I've seen quite a few copies of Metriod Trilogy, Dead Space Extraction, and Again. I suppose it helps to have a little too many stores in one area.

Let's just trade anerki, your Nocturne for my Abyss(more liek, I could buy one anytime).

At least you don't have to cross an entire ocean to get to Korea.

Yo, my friend actually has this one.

Well, you could always resort to... emulation, assuming you have a pc that can handle it, which isn't saying much considering I have a pretty bad laptop and I can run Persona 4 almost at full speed, so assumming Tales of the Abyss isn't too "heavy" and that you have a computer better than mine then maybe you can emulate it!

I went to the vidya gaemz store today to see if they had a used copy of TotA.
When I got there I forgot why I went there in the first place so I went home.
I didn't remember until I saw this topic again.
