again Mothersday......

The most cruel, dreadful and unnecessary day in the year.
Millions of "lemming" action people (mostly Kids and Fathers) are acting like mentally disturbed to make the grade of one of the greatest social convention of human kind.

It is the most hypocritical and dishonest day of the year.

YOU HAVE TO LOVE YOUR MOTHER EVERY SINGLE DAY IN THE YEAR !
RESPECT HER.SAY IT TO HER.SHOW IT TO HER.
(if your relationship to her is intact of course :)).


I wish you respectively your MOTHERS a "nice" mothers day.

Do not forget to buy her something senseless....
Or do some other stupid Things like Breakfast in Bed,throwing Flowers at her or cooking her some Meal.....

I only speak to my mom on mothers day and ignore her the rest of the year. Without that day, I would've never spoken to her.

There nothing to add here. If you need to behave differently on that day… I would say you’re doing something wrong on 364 days (365 on leap years) of the year.

All these social conventions, these “special days”, I dislike them. Desperately needing a reason to celebrate something… why?

I can see some value in special days (holiday) as a possibility to meet with friends/relatives because it might be harder (not impossible though) to do this on "normal" days.

Meh. Greeting card holidays. I am not averse to sending a gift, email or phone call but would not care if I missed it either.

does that not mean every day father's day, teacher's day, grandparent's day and so on and so on.

Likewise I would say if you are going to do the whole being a parent thing (silly idea if you ask me but to each their own) then you should do it well, however observable reality says many are useless or worse, or just a cunt in general.

Is that a particularly notable feat? Baseline from that is probably harder than shooting some goo but eh, and if the goo shooter stuck around it is unlikely they had a particularly pleasant year or so.

It's just a way for corporations to coerce people into buying their dumb products.

Of course, pretty much every other holiday is geared towards that too nowadays
