Chicago, The Windy City~

Well, last night I got back from a 4-day band trip to Chicago, and it was pretty cool. I hardly travel out of Minnesota, so it was a fun experience. We did a LOT of stuff while we were there. We went to the Shedd Aquarium (which was pretty neat) and the Adler Planitarium (Which was... a little dissapointing), as well as The Field Museum and The Museum of Science and Industry. The Firld museum was pretty neat, they had a cool exibit about evolution. And a bunch of dino bones, and I like dinosaurs. :) The Museum of Shience and Industry was pretty cool, too. They had a Sub (a 505-something, iirc), and a Zephyr Locomotive. The exibits weren't exactly mindblowing, but the vintage vehicles and stuff were cool enough to make up for it. We also went to see The Blue Man Group and Medieval Times, both of which were pretty kick-ass, especially The Blue Man Group. Talk about an awesome performance. A visual and audial treat, and funny, too. There were some late arrivals and they actually stopped the show and put them on the front screen, it was hillarious. Medieval Times was also cool, what with the jousting and horse show stuff. Oh, we also went to Tommy Gun's Garage, which was fun, and they had damn good lasagna.

All in all, a fun trip. And I got to play through Loco Roco on the train ride there.

I remember living close to Chicago for my entire middle school career. Needless to say, I've visited most of those places on field trips.
