So, the shoulder buttons on my old DSi died. Apparently, they shorted out due to condensation from when I used to blow the dust out with my mouth (yes, a very n00bish and idiotic thing to do, and I'm pissed at myself for not realizing that would happen until it was too late
).
It was still under GameStop's warranty, so I brought it in and got it replaced.
However, I had 2 DSiWare games on it. I backed them up onto an SD card, but according to the GameStop employees there's no way to transfer the DSiWare, even if it's for a valid reason, like trading them from a broken DSi to a new one under warranty.
WTF?! Is this really true?! Apparently the only way to transfer them is to send in the broken one (which is under the GameStop warranty, not Nintendo's) to NoA, where they'll transfer the DSiWare themselves. Which, knowing NoA, that could take at least a month, and it would cost who knows how much
Bah. I'm pissed. Sure, they were only cheap time killers - Dragon Quest Wars and Pinball Pulse: Ancients Beckon - but I feel like I've been cheated
