I survived by deleting games I no longer played. Unfortunately, they don't sell anything below 500Gb. Heck I could get along just fine with 60Gb. I just wanna know if this gets the job done.

if I were you, I would go with more solid data type of HDD, because you don't seem to care for the amount of data that the HDD is capable of storing much, like myself, you just don't want to boot that HDD one day and find out that everythings deleted for some weird reason, also buy a strong case for it, eletrcomagnetic and shocks can hurt even the most stable hard disc, it's best to protect it if you got extra money, instead of buying another one again later because you accidently -bla bla bla-

Btw, I'd try to go with Western Digital types of SSD's, they are very stable for their price, their HDD itself is built well, it let's you also spend more money on metal case (if possible), and yes, it came from the Jew who wouldn't want to buy the same thing twice (unless its food\coke), I don't have a lot of space myself to put my flash drives and HDD's and all other computer hardwares, therefore it happens to me a lot that one simply dies because it fell and in most cases, not by my hand

He means SSD, Solid State Drives. I bought a Western Digital 250gb passport essentials external HD and it works just fine for my Wii and as PC/360 storage. It was around $60 at walmart though chances are you'll only find the newer models now and who knows if you even have a Walmart.

As long as its powered by USB then it doesn't really matter what you get as it should be fine with anything, Wii, 360, PC, whatever. If it requires extra power then it might not be compatible with the Wii(if thats what you use it for). Other then that the guy above is right, get WD.

So it has to be USB powered, OK thanks.
