I decided to add Gameboy color detection to this particular game, so I wouldn't have to worry about appeasing both Color and Monochrome Gameboys. It's just easier for this very colorful project.
The premise: Pac-Man has gone missing, and Clyde goes looking for him beyond the mazes. He travels to different Gameboy games in search of the Power-Pellet muncher. Leave no stone unturned!
There are 3 worlds to check out in the game so far:
~ 3 Mazes from Pac-Man
~ Mabe Village from Link's Awakening
~ The entire first level of Kirby's Dreamland.
I have much more planned, but I pounded out the Kirby level assets in a night. I would like some feedback if you try it out. (I'm particularly proud of the Dream Shrine that takes you to Dreamland, I put a lot of work into all that scripting. Same with the tree boss at the end of the kirby level.)
