I finished Skyward Sword up to Demise the day of the original release (I had grabbed the leak online; I DID buy the game though), then I had gone on vacation. After getting back, I beat Demise, and then what did I do? I overwrote my save with hero mode. I was pissed. So then I spent the next week looking for a similar save (not a 100% one, just one with the minimum required items). I found one, then began to do the extra side quests and such. I got a couple Heart Containers, the Hylian Shield, some of the upgrades, gratitude crystals, etc.
Today, guess what I find. My original save file, backed up just before the Horde/Ghirahim battle. I'm mad now.
