Are 3DS hacks getting easier a good thing or a bad thing?

I just wanted to vent for a second without using some poor old noobs post for it. Now I don't claim to be an expert on things, I'm not a developer/programmer, just an average user with an IT systems degree and computer experience in general. Now I just want to ask why it seems like the majority of users around here are complete idiots. I don't mean they are ignorant, (you have to learn sometime) I mean exactly what I said, idiots. I realize there are a lot of lazy people that just don't even try to find info, or are bad at googling or something but when 80% of users say things like, " I followed the guide but haven't finished it, now I'm bricked!". Then the very first suggestion is a NAND backup when the first user just didn't update stuff like they were told to. It just baffles me when common sense is so rare these days that people just automatically assume the worst, without confirmation. You don't have to be an expert in hacking to know outdated programs "may" potentially cause a problem, missing files make things not work, etc. Maybe I'm just crazy but I don't see how it's so hard to troubleshoot simple stuff on your own. Not to mention, if you can't take the time to read and understand what you're doing before you do it, I have no sympathy for you anyway. Granted there are some exceptions, like the Gateway thing on 11.3 that may or may not be rendering systems with A9LH useless (more confirmation needed) but, following the guide to the T and thinking you bricked because you didn't even follow all the steps yet is stupid. It seems like every time the process becomes easier, people become stupider about it. Yes I know I can ignore all the noob posts asking the same exact questions over and over but I really like the temp and helping others troubleshoot real issues. It's just an annoyance when 80% of all threads are the exact same thing saying they bricked when they didn't. I think it would make more sense to have some kind of block for creating new threads until you reach a certain post limit, or it's a new release (I know some devs don't chat in here so have little to no posts). You know, something like if you're under 50 posts or something you can only reply not create new threads. I feel like if you've posted 50 times you might have learned something other than "I don't know".

Tl;Dr I'm tired of 80% of the forum being taken over by idiotic questions that could have been answered with a simple google search while burying useful homebrew releases and hacking progresses.

Useful homebrew...now that's an oxymoron.
Stupid questions have always existed though. People always flood the Nintendo sections with the dumbest things you could ever possibly imagine, and then on many occasions surprise you with things you never thought possible for the human mind to think of.

now I am part of that idiotic group of people cause I am super lazy :/ but I try to learn before I give up like texture editing I got the hang of it sort of and now I am making custom mons and stuff and I am learning how to edit models so I mean for those "idiotic" people if you care about piracy so much why not actually try to make something that is more convenient for the community I mean I distributed cia files because I know how long and annoying it is to extract a cia file do you things on it and then turn it in to a cia files and then install it and then see that you screwed up and either forgot something you wanted to add or just straight get a black screen but thats that what people like us need to do is try it ourselves use our brains and make mistakes and learn from them instead of either making people to it for you or just assuming that you could NOT do it without going through all your theories on whether this is the right way to fix the issue

Video guides for system-critical stuff that changes now and then are not a good idea. Either because they're made by people who don't know what they're doing exactly, lacking technical knowledge to explain it, because they skip things they find unnecessary and/or don't pay attention to the files they're giving to people.... I'm looking at Yakara Colombia, ya. That was avoidable, and what the fuck, editing his name into tools he didn't make? lmao.

It's seriously a bad thing. It looks good at the surface, but when you dig deeper, you see the damages caused by this ease of hacking. Now everyone and their dog can hack their 3DS and the forums are full of people who have no idea what they are doing or getting into. You have people doing stupid shit like deleting their CTRNAND because someone told them too. People bouncing between different youtube guides and causing bricks. You have people who have become obsessed fanboy cults because they've become conditioned to do so.
The community was actually better when it was smaller and people had to know what they were doing. Now we have noobs "helping" noobs and spreading gross amounts of misinformation, coupled with rapid fanboyism.

Speaking of meatballs, what's the deal with meatball sandwich? How can people eat those? It's ROUND. Trying to bite those in a sandwich is a challenge. It's easier to eat a burger stacked with toppings. :ninja:
