Hello there folks. Just another blog rant I'm writing up tonight about some things I have experienced for a while. Will not try to go too far into details and keep it simple but let's have a go.
Lately I have been getting advice from several different people about life. Whether it be coworkers, friends, family, or strangers or people on the internet that are very loosely considered people that I know. I call this loose because on our internet chat and forum ventures, we generally do not get to know the person up front and personal like that of our friends that we meet growing up or in grade school, high school, and college.
So taking everything into account, my own father explained several times the following: advice you get from someone is only worth as much as you paid for it. If the advice was free, guess how much it is worth? nothing. Now, this doesn't apply to every aspect of advice but you have to understand that there are certain people who have different views from yours and quite possibly were not raised with the proper moral upbringing and/or fell into some ruts along the way.
I can't really take advice from people who hang out with dealers, are dealers, or use drugs or habitually become drunks in their life. These type of people need to clean up and get a proper education before being able to hand out solid advice. I, myself, have not fallen into such evil traps in my time and likewise I have not had the proper education to give people all the answers for their life troubles and I know this. But when people come to me for advice, I tell them pretty much the same things anyone that has a stable mind would tell them, even if it is advice that I personally fail to follow on my own.
So anyway, in closing, whenever people give advice I say just sort through it, look at where they are coming from, how they have dealt with issues, ask yourself if they are still dealing with issues and then proceed on your own judgement to see if their advice is worthwhile or not. I find most of the time people involved in destroying their own mind and body with illegal poisons generally do not give out the most practical advice and, on top of that, are just trying to bolster their own self esteem which quite possibly had been lost in their own misdeeds.
The best advice you can get is from people who are well established and especially people who have proper training and a college degree in that field. If ever in doubt, it is a very good idea to seek out those types of people. You will learn a lot and if you have to pay for it, it is money well spent.
