About my signature...

I see a lot of people here on the Temp who like to list the hardwares they own in their signatures...I guess that's fine in its own way, but personally I prefer listing the games that I love in mine...Because I believe that it's the game software that we play, and not the hardware that we own, that ultimately makes us gamers.

Of course I'm not downplaying the importance of hardware...Without hardware to run on, there would be no software; but then again you can also say that without great game software, hardware platforms can't thrive either.

Hardware come and go, but games will forever stay in our hearts, as I would say.

Anyways...What do you guys think?

the thing is, while consoles people have them by the dozen, games can be hundreds, and people like to show off what stuff they got or what mods they have (like cfw), so consoles fit the setting..
having the consoles listen (specially modded like with cfw) also has the effect that people can come to you for help or questions about that system. i personally had done this in the early days of gbatemping, seen a cool gbatemper with a ds and flashcart listen in the signature and i PM him asking about stuff

but yeah showing the favorite games is good or maybe even better because it shows your interests and you can find people with stuff in common to talk with
