Several things related to gaming:
0) My younger cousin's DS Lite has a blown fuse. Textbook definition really: turns on, immediately shuts down. Charging light doesn't come on. I promised I'd take a look at his fuses after exams (end of this month)...and you know what he does? Buys a new DS Lite (Cobalt blue) with his pocket money. Dumb kid throws out his DS Lite....instead of selling it to me.
1) A friend in university has another DS Lite with a busted power switch. It's an easy fix, and I've done it before. Pissed me the hell off because he got another friend to fix it instead of me. (Yes, just because an electronics nerd doesn't have balls doesn't mean that she can't fix the damn thing...) He paid the tech nerd $50 for fixing it. (I hope he ordered a new part, but I doubt it - I've fixed it by superglueing a piece of plastic, so it catches the switch again.)
2) I'm learning to knit. Why? Because it's fun, and relaxing - like my stamp carving. However, I keep stabbing myself with the stupid needles. I bought those needles at a dollar store - $1.49 plus taxes. It's not bad, but just really...hmmm...weird?
3) I should start training my team in Pokemon SS. I currently have: Miltank, Quilava, Skiploom, Nosepass, Poliwhirl, Electivire. I might evolve Poliwhirl into Poliwrath - but need to find a water stone. (Why are stones so hard to find in this one? I remember you could buy them in Goldenrod Dept Store!) Team Rocket almost kicked my ass so hard in this - if any one is interested, I would love someone to Pokesav me a Calm/Modest Ditto with perfect stats.
4) I'm currently making several stamps. They are Twilight based - the Volturi, Cullen crest and another Hufflepuff stamp. All for a Hufflepuff hand knit scarf.
5) I'm currently battling a take home exam. And losing badly. (Exam used Essay Question. It's super effective!! Astrangeone fainted.)

R: I come across two busted but fixable DS Lites - people don't trust me to fix them, and I'm left shaking my head at the stupid sexism. I'm frustrated at learning to knit, and annoyed at having to carve twilight thing. I suck at Pokemon SS.
