A SuperMediaStore Rant

First off, this is my first blog post! Been here for a while but haven't really felt the need/want to post anything...until now.

Last week I ordered a 100 spindle of Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's (I usually buy Ritek but these were on special). The Fed-Ex guy comes Friday and drops them off and I just sit them on the shelf as I was leaving for work.

Well, today rolled around and I finally got a chance to open the box. Got all my cases ready for the heavy burn session (my only day off) that I have been putting off. Pulled out the spindle and opened it up only to find they sent me CDR's! The label on the plastic case said DVD-R but the discs were, indeed, CDR's. You can imagine my disappointment.

So, I gathered all my packing information and took pictures of everything. Composed a polite email (along with my order number and other needed info). Attached the images and sent it along to their Help department. Now I get to play the waiting game until they get back to me.

I have been a customer of theirs for 5-6 years and have never had an issue like this. I'm hoping they decide to bite the bullet and just tell me to keep the discs and send me my correct DVD-R's. Not getting my hopes up though.

Anyways, that's the end of my little SMS rant. Hope you enjoyed my first blog post as much as I enjoyed hated having to write it! :rolleyes:

Damn that sucks, someone f'ed up somewhere. Hopefully they are all cool about it.
