a scientific paper on humans

so today the weather here is less than 32°C! (its 3°C)
so lets take a look at how this effects the behavior of wild humans and compare it to other temperatures (31°C and 33°C) and the standard 32°C
today, at 3°C, you may find workers of the colony that direct traffic huddling together along roads, you may also find workers that enforce control freezing to death outside the main education centers.
colony movement hits an all time low as this species is unable to navigate with the temperature messing with there navigational organs, you may find a worker whom'st've gotten lost and will soon starve ro death without its colony.
as the queen (daddy trump) is not at the nest at this time, the weather will severely decrease the population
it will be hard for this nest to bounce back but the queen visits often enough that it can recover.

in the 31°C weather the humans have the same behavior as above, just less bad

in the 33°C weather the humans will start to die off from heat exhaustion as they are not used to the weather

and in the 32°C weather the humans do not die and are capable of reproduction, this may be ideal for them but they are still fucking idiots genetically

My ideal external temperature is 26°C (in summer, not in my flat in winter, that would be too hot)
But I agree, 33°C is the limit I can support in summer and heat wave starts affecting me.

Dang. The normal here is around 36°C. It has reached 40°C many, many times before.

I prefer Celcius because it's based on a physical state of the water. (well, not all water, and not all atmospheric pressure, so it's still wrong. The one you drink, at sea level)
0 = ice water
100 = boiling water
It's easier to represent based on something you are used to see everyday. ice to boiling, you get your scale.

While Fahrenheit doesn't seem based on anything?
just "100°F approximate human body temperature" but if there's no other reference point, how the scale is calculated?
ah, 0°F seems to be based on the smallest measured temperature by one single person ages ago, not even something related to physics.
but, ok, I got my two reference points.

I might even prefer Kelvin, when 0 is a physical state too. you could note the scale of 1K is based on Celcius' scale (0/100 based on water state)

@Cyan
my favorite is -1*K
stuff would move backwards :P

yeah, I'm searching the paper on the absolute heat. I know they measured it few years ago. it wasn't hot, it was just the state of physical element which made it "infinite positive".
temperature is not a value, but a relationship between two state of physical element, having one being reversed make the heat absolute. something like K/-1 (well, my explanation is probably bad)

edit: found it, sorry it's in french.

based on Boltzmann distribution.

@Cyan Farenhiet is based off of numbers that can be easily divided. For example, 32 F is divisible by 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, and 32, quite a lot. Similarly, the body temperature in F is also divisible by many numbers (can't remember which though atm). 212 is also divisible by quite a few numbers, being 1, 2, 53, 106, and 212. I can't quite remember why they decided to do this, but I remember it is based off of it.

    Speaking of meatballs, what's the deal with meatball sandwich? How can people eat those? It's ROUND. Trying to bite those in a sandwich is a challenge. It's easier to eat a burger stacked with toppings. :ninja:
