Except his is like every 1000 posts, and I know I won't be getting 1000 more posts every two weeks.
Since I joined here at GBATemp I have been bound, gagged, and dumped in several places... not really. Though throughout last year I have done many things. The most notable is before going back to school over the summer, I took a course in the science of Avionics at the local county college. Do not be fooled, it was an easy class meant for fun, and yes I did learn a lot. At the first of the course we dealt with Ohm's law, and we took tours of the college, and I got to see all the Airplanes they had in the hanger. There were quite a bit of single engine and twin engine jobs. Then there were some turbo prop twin engine jobs. About 3/4 of the way through the course I got to take a special behind the scenes tour of the Houston space center. Most notably was the original mission control of the Apollo missions, and mission control for the international space station. Here are some pictures of the Apollo Mission Control:
This computer sent the first man to the moon, and the typical cell phone today is at least twice as powerful as one of these.
This is the type of flag they planted in the moon.
I don't think I should post the newer mission control pictures, so no dice for that. And we also went to the Houston Museum, but that wasn't as important (mostly because I didn't get as many pictures of there). When I got back from Houston, we all made our own radios. I had to start a day later than the others (mainly because I was absent a day), and they were already halfway done. I went to work in a hurry, and I finished within two hours. The best thing about is was, my instructor said even though I finished in a 1/3 of the time of the others, my build quality was better than any of theirs (oh and just to mention, we had to solder and stuff).
Speed forward to Christmas: I got the only thing I had asked for (and several others that I didn't ask for): A Sony book reader. Then I received an X-Box 360, and I promptly bought Borderlands. Man I had a fun Christmas break (you don't know the half of it).
Now its on to finals week, and Apparently with my grades, I could get a 0 on every one of my finals and still pass for the semester.
Well that is pretty much my life up to speed since I joined.
--Side notes--
-I "got" Final Fantasy Crystal Bearers, and it is actually very fun.
-My DSi needs to be repaired, and I am outraged that they are going to charge me 50$ to fix it...
