It's a decent laptop.

The processor sucks but for that price you can manage. Are you going to install Ubuntu or some Linux distro on it?

Haha,sweet. my mom wants to get me one of those thousand dollar Sony Vaios with Blu Ray so i can burn some slideshow videos and stuff for her. xD

I didn't really need much of a video card anyway, I'm going to use it mostly for browsing. I also plan on using it for my DJ setup when I get enough cash for turntables. ;)

processor is more then enough for everyday stuff and then some
its right below the core 2 duo line

gfx is really fail though, dont plan on playing anything on it
