Finished reading "Star Wars: Dark Force Rising", good book, enjoyed mostly because one of the best memories was when I was 19 and part of the Star Wars Fan Club back in Bolivia, met so many good people there...

I read those books ... a good while ago ... maybe 12 or 13 years ago.

I haven't really been in to Star Wars in recent years. Though as a child I did go through my Star Wars period; the comics, the games, the toys, I couldn't get enough. Somewhere along the line I just stopped caring about it. However, I've recently been re-inspired by the upcoming Star Wars: The Force Unleashed game, which has some fantastic looking gameplay mechanics.

i never really understood what everyone liked about star wars, IMHO i just think it's not that great
