1200 fires in californiia right now

really? how come i have not heard of any of these 1200?

I heard that Arnie was trying to get Oregon, Washington and other surrounding states to help put the fires out... Scary shit.

Yeah, we need firefighters. We have a lot, but 1200... It was 800 earlier this week.

I've heard about them too. Seeing how I'm going to be flying out there after the weekend...well, it's going to be interesting nonetheless. Apparently already one of the places I was going to visit has been blocked off recently and there's no telling how it's going to progress from here on (apart from the obvious "burn everything in sight" it's been doing).

At least (so far) it isn't like a few years ago when we couldn't go outside in school and there was ash all over the ground, and we lived pretty far from those fires.

4 years ago there were a lot of forest fires near where I lived, and the town constantly smelled like smoke, and there was ash flying everywhere. We would find charred twigs and leaves and stuff like that in our backyard. We were on fire evacuation notice for a while, but never had to leave
