morvoran Ok, I'm going to take a look into the left side of politics to list some examples of democrat policies that have actually helped people and things the left has done to change the world for the better. Wish me luck....I'm going to need it!!!!

Disclaimer: MUST READ BEFORE COMMENTING!!! This is my blog where I post my opinions. Things on this list are not up for debate unless I decide otherwise. You are free to express your opinion as long as you are staying within the topic of this blog and not just being hateful or rude. If you want to express your hateful opinions, create your own blog or thread. Any comments that contain insults, hate, or just rude will be subject to deletion at my discretion. Please remain civil is all I ask.

Ok, first is the list of good democrat policies....

ok, um.... Here I go..... Geez... I didn't realize how hard this would be.....

    "2 hours later...."

    1) oh, yeah, plastic straws.... no wait, that was an 8 year old's idea for a report assignment. They were replaced by paper straws... kills trees, can't be recycled...no, nevermind
    2) ooo, how about affirmative action? wait, no, that says that POC's aren't as capable as non-poc's meaning they are inferior making that policy racist... damn.
3)I got it. welfare. It was a safety net for those who fell threw the cracks........, but was later changed to take fathers out of the home destroying the family unit for lower class families creating an epidemic of single mothers.... nope
4)hmmm, ok I'll have to come back to this..... let's move on

Ok, positive things about the left. I know this will be easy.
    1) fighting climate change/global warming...... oh, wait, they let kids skip school today, most people made an extra trip in their cars and flew on planes to get to the protest which actually increased the carbon footprint today compared to if they just went to work/school. They also left litter all over the ground. I guess that leaves this out. Sorry.
2)Pro-choice to have abortions that keep the population down....... Hmm, no, this is just killing unborn babies that could have been prevented with other means of birth control like abstinence.... and it can be considered evil. Ok, I'll skip this topic.
3)Well, I would like to say protesting for gun control (taking away the rights of law abiding citizens while doing nothing about criminals, nope), open borders (overwhelming our economy/welfare system and allowing criminals into our country unrestricted, nope). Ok, I got it....
4)Antifa - true warriors against Nazi that want to limit your speach... by...attacking others that don't think the same way as them... which is what fascist do.... Ok, maybe not a good example.

Ok, I tried to come up with some ideas, but I'm just not having any luck. Once I find some good, true information to fill this list, I will come back and fill it out..... I don't have high hopes, but anything is possible.

morvoran Just for the few uninitiated people on here who confuse blogposts for threads, these are my opinions/facts I found on the internet/ravings. This is not intended to start a debate, but rather, to inform on why I think the way I do. If you want to debate, take it to the politics section and create a new thread. I will allow comments, but any that are only to shit-post, attack, insult, or just to be hateful will be deleted. I welcome your opinions but respect mine.

Why I stand behind the US President and his administration, and why I feel the left is wrong to hate him.

If you watch any late night talk shows, tune into main stream media channels, visit mainstream news websites (other than Fox News), or even when you relax and enjoy your favorite comic book or tv show, you'll will, more likely than not, be inundated with leftist viewpoints and/or outright attacks on right-wing values. This matter has come to the point where I no longer watch tv anymore due to my values being assaulted constantly by those in charge of our entertainment.

I can understand why a lot of millennials, "free spirited" individuals, and foreigners can think Trump and the right are evil, racist, xenophobic, etc. They are constantly being fed the same lies about how they should think and feel, all day and night, over and over again, until they start to believe it so much that any ideas that oppose the ideals they have bought into, is totally wrong and only means to destroy them.
I have had discussions with people who are so brainwashed in the left's viewpoints, that they absolutely refuse to agree with anything on the right. Even if Trump would come out and say "air is good, everyone should enjoy it and breath it in", these people would hold their breath till they die rather than let Trump be correct about something in their mind. A lot of untruths told about Trump can be easily contradicted with a simple internet search such as the "he said all mexicans are rapist...." lie.

The truth is that if anybody who thinks the Republicans/Conservatives are racist, evil, hateful, anti-any groups, etc would take a few minutes to actually look at the policies of the Democrats from the Jim Crow laws and all the up to how they would rather take care of illegal immigrants before helping US citizens, you might wonder, for a change, what the Democrats are actually all about and who their best interests are out to help. Take some more time to actually think up a policy the left has created since Trump took office to help anybody that does not involve trying to impeach the president.
Another issue I have with the left is the fact that a lot of them will not support the president of the USA regardless if they like him or not (which I find funny figuring everybody loved Trump before he started to run for president). The media has even assaulted his tariff policies to the point they were close to causing a recession with their rhetoric even though our economy is the strongest it's been in decades, just ask Jim Cramer.

I don't even want to go into the whole "Russia scandal" and "Trumps a russian spy" nonsense. You all should know how this turned out and how much time/money was wasted on this. Let alone, the whole "impeach Trump" fiasco that is still going on. Imagine if the House democrats spent that time and effort on actual policies and getting things done. Too bad this will most likely go on for another 5 years.

Now, I'm not saying the right side of the aisle will create a Heaven on earth with rainbows, butterflies, and unicorns running all over. They also have a few policies I disagree with as well, but that is not the topic of this blogpost.

Just to start on why I support Trump, here are some of his accomplishments so far in his presidency as of this blogpost:

    Warning: Spoilers inside!

I know, some of you who think Trump can do no good will think to yourself or post a nasty comment about how these are lies, they never happened, or "but, but, but Don Lemon/Rachel Maddow/Trevor Noah/Steven Colbert told me Trump does nothing good". Just keep in mind that if these were lies, the left wing media would attack them constantly in order to have them removed from the site.

Like I said in my first blog, I didn't like Trump at first. I thought he was just a reality tv/business man who just thought of himself. I wasn't sure why he was running as a republican as he was a staunch liberal for many years who even supported the Clintons during their time in office. With just the attacks I noticed, I always wondered why he would want to stay president with all this hate towards him. I know I would quit my job if I took half of the crap people were throwing at him.

After realizing just how much the left was attacking him for nonsense stuff like his hair, his kids, how many people shown up at his inauguration, fake news about him saying racist things, etc along with the fact that even his republican colleagues were attacking him, I started looking at his policies. I was surprised at how much he was actually working towards making "America great again" and getting things done. Now fast forward to today, with the economy being better than ever, unemployment being at all time lows for everyone including POC's, and the fact that he is actually building an effective wall ("Oh, the wall is going up!!!"), I just don't see how anybody can be against him and his administration.

To end this, I will just say that, we should all support him regardless if you hate him or love him because he is our president, he is making this country great, and he is going to win in 2020.

morvoran My username is Morvoran, and I've been a member on this site since Dec 2010.
For the few on this site that may peruse the World News, Current Events & Politics section on this site, you might recognize me as the right-wing Trump supporter who has no issue expressing my views. For the rest, I may not even exist as I don't post on threads that do not interest me much. I enjoy playing games and hacking consoles, buy only for my personal enjoyment. I don't care to share if I liked a game, if an unfinished game that is not out yet seems good or not, or how much I like or dislike a company that charges for their Switch hacking software. I may assist somebody with an issue here and there, but mainly, I am just a lurker on most of this site reading the opinions of others instead of sharing my own.

When I became a member of this site, I was not political at all. I didn't care who the president was, had no clue who the governor of my state was nor the mayor of my city. I would have been considered a Democrat due to my beliefs then, but I never voted in elections, never expressed my personal views to others, or never had a discussion with someone if I had an issue with their view.

This lasted until Bush, Jr. I would make jokes about him in ways such as how he pronounced "nuclear", or "nucular" as he would say, or his classic sayings like, "Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice, I won't be fooled again". I thought, "who let this fool in office?"

Then Obama came along, and I started expressing my left leaning ideas to my friends, family, and co-workers. I've never been for affirmative action as I always thought that was a racist policy and felt that as long as the best person got the job, that's what mattered (as long as they were a Democrat). I thought it was great for a change I could believe with somebody different from the status quo of old white men.

Even right before Obama left office and the primaries for both dems of repubs were going on, I was pushing for Bernie as I thought universal healthcare would be great to have along with his other policies and thought Hillary was crooked. Turns out I was kinda right when the DNC stole the nomination from Bernie to give to Hillary. I couldn't stand Trump mainly because I hated "The Apprentice" and thought he was just a dumb reality tv star who bankrupted his businesses. The other republicans were weak in their stances and policies.

This lasted up until after Trump was elected and I started noticing the media constantly attacking him. It got so bad that I couldn't stand watching Colbert, The Daily Show, or Late Night with Seth Meyers anymore because everyday, it was "Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, etc" show after show after show. If Trump was so bad, even so, why talk about him so much? Even though I didn't like Bush, Jr, I stood by him as the president as he was the one in charge, and I wanted the country to succeed. I just couldn't understand why he, as president, was being attacked as this isn't good for the US. It makes us look bad to other countries. I had to look into this myself.

That's when I learned that all these shows were ignoring and/or just refusing to bring up the good things he was doing for the country and it's citizens. The left leaning shows were calling him a racist, sexist, xenophobic, he was ruining the country, he was a criminal, etc., but the evidence, data, and statistics I was finding were showing the opposite. I wondered what else I was being lied to about.

I started looking into the Democrat party vs the Republican party even more. What I found was outstanding figuring that the public schools I went to told me a different story. I felt like my whole life was a lie.

I won't go into all the details, but I'll just say you should look into the Democrat Party yourself and see what they and their policies have done to the black community, our recent border and illegal alien issues, and how our biggest cities are failing under their control. If you really look at the big picture including identity politics, you'll see how they are the ones promoting racism, segregation, xenophobia, etc instead of the republicans.

After waking up to the truths on both sides of the political divide, I have become a Trump supporter. After he leaves office in Jan 2025, I may go back to being non-political again as I fear our country will just fall back into the old status quo.

Seeing people bash the president with their untruths in a thread made me express my views in the politics subsection. I never reply to anybody to attack them or to "piss them off". I only want to discuss the situation we are dealing with in the thread. Nothing more and nothing less. If you don't want to discuss the matter with me or like my viewpoints, just ignore me. I never have or will force anybody to read what I say on here. Don't blame me if you can't control yourself and show some personal responsibility. Don't go crying to the mods just because you don't agree with me.

It amazed me (even though it shouldn't have) when I posted a couple of threads about some crazy things people were suggesting, such as using cannibalization to fight climate change or the NRA being a terrorist org and having discussions with people with different views, that people (most likely liberals, I would guess) started attacking me and asking why I was posting these threads.
Somebody accused me of shit-posting and asking Mods why I was being allowed to express my views on this site accusing them of being conservatives. This also blows my mind because they had no issue with the ones expressing their views either against me or otherwise. Hmm, I wonder why...?

My jaw dropped when I found out that the politics subsections are barely moderated due to any action done could cause the mods to be labeled "nazis". I can believe this as this situation is prevalent in the media when the police are called nazi sympathizers when they prevent right wing folks from being attacked.

To end this, I will just say that, even though I have right wing values, I will respect your right to express your views and will attempt to have a discussion with you, so please respect mine.
