Hello, here I post random stuff.

Holy cow that was a pain, reminds me of dismantling an Xbox 360 where you have to pry plastic apart. I broke every single tab on this thing and finally got it open after almost an hour. It was well worth it for the sata-usb adapter though. Works perfectly attached to my SSD. I'll be cloning harddrive tomorrow.
I was too lazy to boot up my PC, so I connected up my PSP to my Wii U with a mini-usb cable and transferred Sega Genesis games to it using WiiXplorer on vWii. It won't work if you connect it before loading WiiXplorer though (especially if your PSP is hacked and you tell it to charge while in USB Mode), you have to wait until WiiXplorer is loaded first, then connect the USB cable. Remount all drives, if a Disc is inside it'll eject. After that, you can look at the memory stick on the PSP and transfer files if you wish, it'll be a lot slower than using a USB 2.0 on a PC though. You have been warned.
P.S. I'm thinking about getting another memory card for the PSP just to see if I can use it as a Wii U HDD for lulz.
I bought an original XBOX at Goodwill the other day and when I booted it up, it would randomly freeze while loading. It had the game Shrek 2 in it. (score!) I also had another XBOX that had video issues so I swapped DVD drives between them and lo and behold it worked! I'm going to softmod this tomorrow!
So, I got this fat PS2 from a thrift store recently and I decided to take it apart after not getting video from it. I take it apart, clean it, put it back together.. I connect it up to the TV and still no video, then I notice something. I'm not getting power to my controllers! I messed up by taking that part off and not making sure the metal contacts touch so it's probably not being grounded. I'll take care of this tomorrow.
I used this to extract it.
You'll have to compile it yourself. I used Visual Studio 2017 community edition to compile it.
Sinon likes this.
I'm trying to figure out this weird file extension called ssd. On the Wii game Tatsunoko vs Capcom, the bgm is in ssd file format and there's also an srt file that I guess loads it. I wish there was documentation on this.
Man, what a long title. I've been using Kurrimu and other such programs from @IcySon55. I've managed to extract textures and menus and other images so far. I really want to translate this game to English! Maybe someday.
So, I had my 3DS on for a while, running different games. Decided to load Homebrew Launcher, but instead of it failing to load, it went to 3DS Download. I turned it off and back on, was normal again. That was kind of trippy.
