Pkhex has more feature in general compare to powersaves as it stated above, like back in the day you couldn't renickname a pokemon with powersaves, and powersaves event are consider bad so don't bother with them, I believe they can't be transferred to home. Do keep in mind it is possible for the powersaves to kill the cart, happened to one of my friends.

They had bad SID and PID If I remember correct, just just pkhex to inject the legit wondercard instead. In addition they stick to one date for when it was obtained, so people were fishy about them.
