Hey guys,

Since I coulnd't find anything related to my situation, I decided to create this topic to ask you for help.

My Sandisk 400gb micro sd suddenly became unbearably slow - installing games with a size of 4-5gb takes up to 30 minutes. I own a second switch with the same sd card and it is a night and day difference, everything is significantly faster.

I set up my Emunand(sx os) about a year ago, my Switch is being used solely for offline purposes, that's why I opted for the "files on micro sd" method during the Emunand-setup.

Today I ordered a new card, the Sandisk 512 gb, since everything is visible on my micro-sd card could I just copy and paste everything from the old to the new card? Has anyone of you guys done it in the past?

Any help is greatly appreciated

Hi,

The SD card, where did you ordered it? And did you format it to FAT32?

I would wipe everything on your sd card (make sure to backup your game files) and place a brand new installation of the latest atmosphere + bootloader + sept on your SD card. if there are still problems, let me know :)

Thanks for the response guys! I ordered it from amazon. Formated it to FAT32 and just copied the content of my older SD card to the new one, as you guys said. It all worked perfectly. Thanks for the help, all the best to you!
