Hi,

I wanted to play brawl on the vWii so i can play project m on a console with a hdmi port, but the gamecube adapter does not work :^(

So i would like to know if there is any way to use it on usb loader gx (if its possible on Nintendont why not on this) or to install mods on vc injected wii games ?

thanks to anyone who reply (because wii u modding is kinda dead in 2020 lol)

Unfortunately no, doesn't work in Wii mode. Nintendont is hacked to use multiple controllers, Wii mode doesn't have any sort of hack like that

Injects are no different they still use Wii mode but just sit on the Wii U menu.

However there is a solution if you buy this.

Works with gamecube controllers by connecting to Wiimote. I have this and it works on Wii games that support classic controller (Brawl is one). It basically makes your Gamecube controller into a classic controller.

the only thing that works with wiiu gc adapter is smash wiiu and nintendont and that is it, unless homebrew is coded to use hid controller it wont support wiiu gc adapter.

the Gamecube Adapter is a generic USB-HID device converter, and in order to use it the games need to read controller input from USB-HID.
only games developed after the release of that adapter are most likely to do that. unless old game enabled HID reading for other reasons (like enabling other controller type, for example USB arcade joysticks for fighting or flight games?)

the games (or homebrew like nintendont does) need to specifically look at USB for HID controller input and convert it to game's actions. the adapter is not seen as "gamecube controller".

It is very sad not to be able to use the Gamecube controls in Wii games on Wii U, I would like to be able to keep the Wii in the closet and only have the Wii U connected to play 3 generations of consoles without problem.

It would have been great if Nintendo didn't add the GC ports to the Wii and people had to buy the adapter, so its code would already be on an IOS.
