making Check Mii Out Channel wad
27 May 2009 - 12:56 AM
I was trying to make a wad from the Check Mii Out channel for my friend because he has 3.2 and was never able to download it, so I did a nand dump and suppposedly made a .wad that worked. When I went to test it, by installing it on my wii, it caused a banner brick so I had to remove it, thus removing my channel. Now I can't even download it from the Wii Shop channel and I'm still incapable of making a wad out of it. Does anyone know how to make a wad for the Check Mii Out Channel, if you tell me how I should be able to make it myself.
3 in 1 GBA Pokemon games and Pokemon XD
21 April 2009 - 01:35 AM
Is there a way to make the 3 in 1 work with pokemon XD for the gamecube? When you go to link it up, the pokemon xd stuff is downloaded to the gba but it seems to fail when it goes to look for the save data. Is there a way to either patch pokemon xd or the gba pokemon games to make it where pokemon xd can find the save data?
Game boy color gameshark/action replay software
20 March 2009 - 12:42 AM
I was wondering if anyone knew where to find the game boy color gameshark/action replay software used to manage codes and snapshots via a serial to gb cable. I lost mine during a move, and only have the cable and the gameshark. The gameshark I'm talking about is clear-see through and was probably the last version released. I would really appreciate the help, I've spent hours scouring the web and I've been unable to find this program.
How to un-ios patch games?
14 February 2009 - 03:41 AM
Recently I obtained Onechanbara and House of the Dead: Overkill, which were dumped by the same person. After dumping said games, this person removed the update partition and patched them to use IOS 3.2. I have another game which had the update partition removed (Animal Crossing) and it works fine through the disc channel via cioscorp, but these two games do not. Both of these games run fine through softchip, so I was wondering if there was a way to reverse that ios patching that was done to them to maybe make them work through the disc channel.
Drive and x8 dual dvd's problem
02 December 2008 - 10:58 PM
I Posted several days ago asking for help on the img burn forums, and I thought I'd post help here too, seeing how no one responded :/.
Here's what I had in my post
So I was wondering, does anyone know of some modified firmware or something to make my drive actually read these dvd's?

QUOTE
Today I got in some x8 dual layer dvds today that I ordered. When I put the discs in the drive, they'd spin for a while and then imgburn would just give me "Device Not Ready (No Reference Position Found)". Of course, the first thing I thought was "my drive must not support x8 dvd's", but when I looked online it said my drive does support x8 dual layer DVD's. This is the first time I've had problems burning anything, regardless of the media type, but then again this is the first time that I've used x8 dual layers (I've used x2.4 previously). After surfing some forums I came to the conclusion that maybe it had to do with my firmware not being able to recognize the discs. So I crossflashed my HP 1040d to the lite-on LH-201H LL0D. Even after flashing my drive, it still gives me errors. While surfing the forums, I noticed that some were complaining about bad batches of Verbatim dual layer DVD's, could this be the case, and where can I find where they are made on the packaging?
So I was wondering, does anyone know of some modified firmware or something to make my drive actually read these dvd's?
