When cleaning my Wii laser a small piece fell from my Wii, since then

Hi,
My Wii had some problems reading games, so I disassembled it to clean up the laser. A small piece fall off my Wii and I don’t know where it belongs.

Here are the pictures of the piece.

The piece measure 3.5 cm by 1 cm (1.37 by 0.39 inches )
I tried to start my Wii without the small piece of plastic. I can insert and eject disc but when I insert a disc the Wii mechanism “shallow” the disc and put it in the middle of the Wii but the disc don’t start spinning !!
I can still play WiiWare.
I need help so I can fix my Wii; I’m a student so I don’t have a lot of money.

Anyone knows how to install games directly to an SD card without installing them into the Wii internal memory first? I'm planning to buy a 32gb SD card and install lot's of games ...

Why the Virtual Console section is not updated anymore with the lastest release ?

Lot's of game have been released since GBAtemp last update (VC #0239 - Xevious (USA)).

How can I get the tickets # for all Wii VirtualConsole games ?
I'm currently scripting something to automate the dumping of all game saved on the sdcard with FS-Dumper_v1.

Otherwise the process of dumping new games will be one at a time...
