Seriously, anyone who says the DSi XL is "too big" or "heavy" is kinda just kidding themselves. It is bigger/heavier no doubt but we are talking about inches and ounces here. Not feet and pounds.

I've got a DS lite and an XL.
And all i can say is you won't think twice once you buy the XL. Bigger screens, better speakers, better viewing angles, longer battery for $20 more dollars? I'll take it.

IF ANYTHING, you will come to say that the DSi and Lite are TOO SMALL.

The bluetooth module might be broken on your friends WII.

Do ANY controllers connect?

Are you syncing the remotes??? AKA the Red button in the SD card slot on the WII and also the red button in the battery housing for the WIImotes??

Try syncing first...

If in the hackmii program you have the option of installing the bootmii boot2, then you have the option. If you aren't shown that option then you can't. Some consoles can't due to nintendo updating some hardware.

you can install bootmii as boot2 and still have preloader as well. they can co-exist.


and like i posted in the other thread you had any program older then the date when HBC 1.0.5 was release WILL NOT be able to point to the NEW HBC. THE NEW HBC has a NEW TITLE ID which all older programs ARE NOT LINKED TO.

Programs need to be updated to point to the new HBC title ID.

the reason is that HBC is installed using a different title ID now because 4.2 update started searching out and delete the other title "HAXX". So when preloader looks for it, it can't find it.


Couple things you can do....get an older version of HBC that still uses HAXX title (1.0.3 does) but only if you aren't running system menu 4.2

OR

you can wait for preloader to update its pointer to the new title ID. which I'm not sure if preloader .30 does...cause i haven't used it...
