Wierd Wiikey Problem

Hello

I self installed my wiikey when they first came out on a system that came out at launch. Everything has been great since then. But recently when I sometimes boot up Super Mario Kart (it way be the same but that is the only game I am playing right now

) it gives me the ‘unauthorized device’ error that started from the Super Mario Galaxy days. Then when I force the system off then reboot the games loads perfectly. WTF?. Now I didn't install the newest update for SSBB. I think it might be a bad solder (but it is weird that my solders help for almost a year then became cold). I am really left at a loss of what to do. Should I open up my system and re solder the wiikey, is the chip going bad, or should I flash to the newest update?

Well it seems that team Xeno, the makers of the wiikey, are waiting to release an update that will block out clones before fixing the problems that were promised to the consumer. I for one am sick and tired of waiting for the team to fix their problems while alienating legitimate customers like me and you. xiaNaix, mod at wiinewz, said he pleaded with them to release an update sooner but they refuse to do so. I was just thinking, what about we create unofficial wiikey firmware to fix the audio fix by possible porting over some open source code from wiifree??? Is the code on the wiikey encrypted? The wiikey needs to be updated and I'm sick of team Xeno.

Wii News Channel not working

Hey I just installed my wiikey. I heard about the issues people were getting with the connect 24 so I turned it off when i did my install. I was just messing around with my channels, turned connect 24 on, and I found that the weather updates. But the news channel claims that it is downloading the news but gives me a message "Unable to download the latest information" WTF ??! Is the nintendo server down?? Or do I need to do that connect 24 fix? Everyone votes, Internet channel, and forecast channel all work except the news channel. Is anyone else having this problem?

Soldering Iron unable to heat??

Hi I think my soldering Iron is busted, I have a 15watt radioshack one like in the guide. No matter how long I heat it up it wont melt solder at its tip of its tip but it can still melt at the base of the tip. It used to melt at the tip, what went wrong??
