So, If I really like a CD, I go out and buy it to support the artist. However my CD player is broken, but I have this TV hooked up to this great speakers, so I figured I could play CD's through my Wii, Maybe a Mplayer lib could make it work? Its one of the basic things a console should be able to do nowadays ( even the PS1 could play cd's).
Any word on a project making this possible? I mean, a CD + MP3 CD player option for Mplayer would probably be something that would get used by a lot of people, cause there's still a lot of people out there, with only one cd player at home(like me)!

-A Nintendo Wii.
-A television
-A computer
-A SD card.
-A copy of Zelda: Twilight Princess( European of course)
-The Software
First backup your Save file of Twilight Princess on your Sd card and put it on your computer.
Now download the following file:
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=DNWK0W2V
Now you have these files:
-Homebrew
-Private
-boot.elf
-readme
-wad
Extract 'em all to the root of your SD card.
Go to this site:
URL DELETED - I CANT HELP YOU ON TEH ROMZ!
and download the games you would like to have.
Note: this howto is for an european wii only
Choose only the games with VC and pal
in the names or regionfree and vc.
Now you have a Winrar file in which there are two other files
-Another .rar file
-A sfv file.
Choose the first one. You will find a file with a wad extension. Extract this to the folder called wad.
Now get the card out of your computer and go to your Wii.
Put the SD card in it and copy the chainloader from the card to you internal Wii memory.
This is your Zelda save file.
Now put the zelda game in your Wii and choose the first game. Now you will land in an area. You have two choices:
1. Go to the dude
2. Run backwards.
Both have the same effect and will boot a screen.
Now just wait and press reset when it says so.
This will extract the game to your internal Wii memory.
Now follow the step and wait until the system reboots and you will see the game that you downloaded in the Wii menu!

New Mainstream DS Flashcard :DS Vision
03 December 2007 - 02:16 PM

Nippon Printing has Partnered up with AM3 to bring you a new DS Flashcard called the DSVision. The DS Vision isn't your average flashcard, from what it looks like, this one won't be booting roms. But the DS Vision will allow you to download movies, music, books, and manga from the DSVision website. It will come with a Micro SD loader and some sources say it will come with a Micro SD card of 512 MB.
