Hey guys,

I updated my homebrew channel as per the instructions on the screen, this then screwed up my boot settings and I just got a black screen.

I was very kindly given lots of great advice in this thread, of which I tried various things - and my Wii booted okay again then!

But now when I load USB Loader GX, no games work. None at all. Whether it's through the newly installed USB Loader GX channel, or via the regular Homebrew Channel, no games work!

Three I tried just went to a black screen, and my remote turned itself off, and on the other one I got a blue screen saying there had been an error.

Any suggestions on what to try, to get my thing working again okay please?

I updated the homebrew channel, but now my Wii won't boot up with the SD card in.

If I take the SD card out it loads PriiLoader, but I have absolutely not the faintest idea what to do from there, for fear of breaking it even further.

As per the title really - I'm after a black Wii at the moment, but can't decide whether to go for a brand new one and try to hack it myself (plus I already have about 20 games at my parents house so there'd be no rush!) - or whether just to go out and buy either a second hand, or pre-modded new one?

I know there are some fantastic guides on here, but I'm always a bit wary of these things to be honest. Not due to the quality of the guides, but due to my own ability to actually follow them, not guess at certain steps and brick my console :-)

My friend's just purchased a DSTT and put a few games onto the SD card. The games show up just fine in the menu, with the correct game icons, but whenever you try to load one it simply doesn't work, the exception (oddly) being Electroplankton?

Any ideas as to why this is happening please? I'm really confused about the whole thing, and couldn't see any info in the sticky'd FAQ

My little cousin has just recieved a message saying that his save file is corrupt when loading a game, normally this wouldn't be such a big deal, but it's Pokemon (!) and he's right near the end.

Any tips on how to sort this would be much appreciated, I think he's pretty gutted about it...
