Maybe this'll entice others to release their exploits AFTER they have been patched in the future. Cool!

Shouldn't the author be able to update this program to fetch the v18?
I replied to your PM. I pretty much have ceased working on Wii projects for the time being/foreseeable future. I have too much going on at the present. The source is available and it can be updated to include v18 of the shop channel and re-compiled with the latest devkitpro if anyone wishes. Although, people never seemed to heed my warning regarding the fact that the v18 shop channel update screws up SDHC reading from within the Wii menu in *many* circumstances....and this is the very reason I did not update to include it. As a matter of fact, it would be best to simply remove the shop channel from the installer and compile if someone should take on the task.

An exploit can be found for *anything*. Posting "proof of concepts" is ridiculous honestly. Unless a release is planned, nobody should ever feed into these and post comments at all in my opinion. So someone found a hole...big whoop. Share the knowledge or it is quite very useless.

This program is very good, BUT have a BIG problem:
The installer download a content and install, and keep doing this at when finish.
This isn't very good, because, if you lose internet signal (like a ISP problem) you cannot download the rest of the contents and can be a instead bricked Wii. This make the installer not so SAFE.
For example, Waninkoko installer, first download all the contents and after that, start to install.
Hope that when a future 4.3 version appears, the install will be like i mentioned before.

Where on earth did you get the idea that the app is downloading and installing at the same time? It downloads content first, then installs it. The onlly way to brick in reality is to have a power failure while the app is installing a critical component like the system menu or system menu IOS.

and finally update your Wii Shop.
Hey man....did you read what I had posted earlier? The shop update absolutely breaks SDHC support (well, at least all of MY SDHC cards) in the Wii menu. I have read a few other reports of this as well, but I have not found a solution. Do you have any ideas?
