Hi guys, I'm playing RB2 on my PAL Wii, and it seems I can't link the game to my rockband profile, and I neither can see me in the leaderboard of bands.
Anyone here experience the same troubles ? Might be a simple banning of data from pal system, I don't know therefore I ask.

Hi, the homebrew is here http://deufeufeu.free.fr/bbdx/bbdxsave.nds
Currently it allows you to use both a save file and a save from cartridge (while on a SLOT2 currently), then it can
* extract songs
* insert songs in custom slots
* free slots
* backup the original save

Daigasso DX Translation & Hacking Project
03 July 2008 - 07:00 AM
So I've started my announced translation project. More about this come.
But right now I've some issues with both no$gba and my flashcard and the 8mb save file. So I think I'll start this work by setting a lower size for backup and embedd all songs in the roms.
So If you have downloaded songs (I'm still waiting for my legit card to come by the mail), you can send me your save or just the song files (i think you use some .bdx naming scheme, the internal file format is called Gak since first one). It will help me a lot.
Also, the gak format has not changed much, just the touch part was removed. So the good news is my tools are still working, and now I'll make an editor
Progress :
07/04 : I've found how to expand the base playlist and how to convert songs from saves files to the game file format (it was just a matter of decoding a LZ77 part). Apparently there's enough memory for 245 songs at the same time, so I can put all the songs of the three save files in one big rom, yay.
07/03 : translation has started, of course everything is done with proper tool and scripts which allow easy editing and produces dps patches (understand by this that this is not an hex editing)

Btw if someone knows how to get past this screen with NO$GBA I'm interested

this one was done in ideas (but there's not a nice debugger...)

I'm going to CMU for the next week. I was wondering if there was tempers who are also student (or staff) there, so I could maybe share a gallon of grog with them!
A nice little challenge site to spend some time

I've recently discovered this nice site http://www.rankk.org .
If you are bored and want to spend some time on the internet while getting better at computer stuff, this is the way to go !
Challenges goes from javascript to logic, with some sql, perl, python, java applet, crypto, hash ect...
Don't be fool by the fact the first three levels can be a breeze if you are a bit accustomed to this kinf of stuff, the real game starts on level 4...
Can you climb the pyramid ?
P.S.: by the way my screename on this is also deufeufeu
