Just for the record, Crapcom have said there will only ever be one disc release of SFXT.
On another note why was the gem system added after decades of games without gems?
Well they charge for extra characters
They charge for different costumes
They were going to charge for extra colours (note they are 'extra' because they were left out) but they are now free! Rejoice!
And of course they will be charging for gem packs to gouge more money and further unbalance the game.
Yes I know they are giving some free gems. Cheers Capcom!
There is no way all gem packs will always be free. They have been created to make money not to enhance gameplay.
Also RE the extra gem slots and combo slots they are giving us for free, the spaces for them are already there on the game menus, they are yet another thing that has been held back/taken out just to sell back later, only now some are 'free' to try and make up for this farce.
Shame it is too little too late for a lot of Capcom fans.
The game has flopped saleswise atm too, maybe it will do better later in the long run but this is all Capcom's own fault. Fighting game fans are just waiting for the SUPERULTIMATE edition even though there isn't going to be one. They won't 'risk' the vanilla release now.
I was going to do the same myself until I read there will only be one disc version and any update will be done via Xbox Live.
I just hope Namco have taken notes from all this and continue to give FREE unlocks in TXSF like all the previous Tekken's.
