I've recently purchased a DSi XL after not using my DS Lite for quite some time (the hinge was broken and I didn't really like the replacement case) and with the start of the new
semester, I've started taking it with me on train/bus trips. At the moment I'm using an ak2i and I've been perfectly happy with it, but whenever I put my DS in sleep mode and
put it in my bag, the game I'm playing at that time is frozen when I resume from sleep mode. It's not a bug in the software (akaio) or a problem with a single game but just due
to the bad contacts on the ak2i. I don't feel like putting a piece of paper around my cart, so I'm looking for a new flashcart. Just wondering if the DSTWO has any issues of the
same sort?

Pokemon HeartGold facing delay in Europe due to buggy software?
25 March 2010 - 11:05 PM
This blue screen of death is supposedly cropping up in the European version of Pokemon HeartGold. This issue is leading to a delay of Pokemon HeartGold in Europe, so the rumor says. If this screen is the real deal, than Nintendo is going to have a pretty big snafu on their hands. Talk about millions of cartridges that are going to be field destroyed...unless somehow Nintendo can patch this. Thanks to NintenDaan for the heads up!
UPDATE - Our friend from Filb.de is saying that the only reason this error occurs is due to a dirty/obscured pin in the cartridge.

That guy from Filb.de is wrong by the way. A friend of mine got his retail cartridge of EU HeartGold today and he's facing the same problem. No shit on his pins either. Sucks if it's gonna be wide spread.
*edit: woops, fucked up the title, mod update appreciated?

Windows application to PHP form
23 November 2008 - 04:50 PM
Is it possible to send info from a Windows application to a PHP form? I've seen it done before, but no luck with googling for it.
Basically, when someone, for example, enters their name in my application, I want it sent to the PHP form.

Anyone good with PHP?

Basically, I have a page with a button. If a user clicks on that button, a timer has to start and after about XX seconds, a pop-up has to be shown, making it so that the user can't click on the website anymore, so, with just the pop-up focused. After another XX seconds, the pop-up will have to vanish.
Really hope someone can help me out with this, it shouldn't be that hard, but I don't know the first thing about PHP
