Moving from WBFS to FAT

09 May 2010 - 05:11 AM

What's the best manner of doing this? I'd like to be able to use my USB HDD on both my Wii and PS3, so I'd like to migrate from WBFS to FAT. What's the best method of doing so considering I don't have any copies of any of the games on my WBFS drive?

Also, I currently use WiiFlow and would like to continue to do so. Will it have any issues with a FAT drive?

Installing Netflix to the NAND or SD?

27 March 2010 - 08:13 PM

I've got the new Netflix disc and I was hoping to integrate it into my Wii as a native (more or less) app.

I've got it installed on my USB hard drive with a channel WAD created with Loadstructor, which works, but it of course requires the HDD to be plugged into the Wii for use. So is there any way I can install the Netflix disc content to the NAND or SD card so I can point the channel WAD to that location so I can remove the need for the HDD?

USB Loader + Mic in RB2/GH5

16 October 2009 - 09:15 PM

I've tried getting my USB mic to work alongside the USB HDD loader (cLoader and WiiFlow) when playing Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero 5, but haven't had any success in getting the game to recognize the peripheral. For GH5, I'm pretty sure it's loading on Hermes cIOS 223 (IOS 36 merged with something or other) and Rock Band 2 loading with IOS 249 or 222.

Now, it's been a while since I've really messed with the Wii, so I'm decently sure it has Waninkoko's cIOS 249 rev 14 or newer (if there is newer). I've also got cIOSCORP 3.2 or 3.4 on system menu 4.0U or 4.1U. I know my details of my setup are vague, but any help on getting the mic to work would be appreciated. Also, while I've got your attention, what can I do to the RB2 or GH5 ISO to get it to launch thru cIOSCORP?

Stripped USB Loader 1.4 for Channel WADs

16 April 2009 - 12:31 AM

I haven't seen any posts with the stripped boot.dol/00000001.app for the USB Loader 1.4 that could be used in creating channel WADs. It'd be great to have one if anyone could make one (especially with force NTSC).

Anyone got one?

USB Channel Pack?

11 April 2009 - 11:25 PM

Is there a collection anywhere of a bunch of USB loader WADs for launching games off the HDD?

I'm specifically looking for the following (NTSC):

Super Smash Bros Brawl
Rockband 2
Guitar Hero 3
Guitar Hero Aerosmith

But the more the better!
