PSN down?

22 August 2010 - 02:25 PM

I get an "8002A220" error when I try to sign in, and from browsing the PSN forums it seems this is worldwide. Apparently there is some "unscheduled maintainance" going on. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH MY LIFE?!?! WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME SONY?!?! mellow.gif

New name?

10 August 2010 - 03:18 PM

I want a new username for PSN. I'll make a new account for when Black Ops is released, because "Thoobinator" is just so unoriginal and I'm just sick of it. I tried to make an account called "Thoob" but it wouldn't let me for some reason, even though no one else is using it. So I thought I'd ask the great peoples of the 'temp for suggestions! yay.gif If it's a good enough name I may even consider having my GBAtemp username changed to it.

I was thinking of having something with my name in it, either Theo or my school nickname which is Ted. But if you can come up with something random then that's fine too. A humorous name would also be a bonus! yay.gif

PETITION TO END CRAZZY1'S EoF SPREE

Crazzy1, you fail at EoF. Just stop. That is all.

Windows well and truly f***ed.

08 July 2010 - 11:13 AM

Well it's come to the point where I think a reinstall is on the cards. Windows 7 is freezing constantly. All I know is that the hard drive indicator light goes solid green, the hard drive just spins for about 20-30 seconds, then the light goes off and I can hear the hard drive stop, then restart again. Windows is then usable for between a second and a minute before this happens again. I know it's not a hardware issue as I can use my dual-booting Ubuntu perfectly, that's what I've had to do for the last few weeks as Windows is totally unusable. Before I copy all my documents to a separate partition and reinstall Windows, is there anyone who has had this problem and knows if there is any way to fix it without a reinstall? And before anyone asks I've done multiple virus scans all coming back clear. Thanks for any help in advance!
