08 September 2011 - 06:01 PM
It seems that we can earn 100 coins at Club Nintendo on doing the post play surveys the 10 NES VC games. Post play surveys are worth 10 coins each and you can do a survey for each game.
PSCXR Xenon alpha 0.5.1
15 August 2011 - 01:11 AM
First, it was made with LibXenon making the emulator comepletely legal. The main limitation being it need to be launch via Xell/Xellous. However the games seem to be running at fullspeed save for a few sound issues. The gui is definately lacking but doable. This is a great initial release of homebrew.

alpha 0.5.1
- missing sound over hdmi
==============================
Thanks
==============================
- Big thanks to GliGli to mantain libxenon
- Thanks to [c0Z], i'm always asking you something and don't understand
- Thanks to Razkar, Tuxuser, Cancerous to support me all the time
- Thanks to Pcsx-reloaded, pcsx-rearmed, shalma to your gift to the ps1 emulation scene
Ced2911 - 08/14/2011
I managed to play MGS, Armored Core, and Colony Wars without issue.
To use extract the "xenon.elf" file and the "pcsxr" folder in the root of your USB drive. Put the PSX image in the root of the USB device as well. Then insert the USB device into the 360 and boot into Xell/Xellous (boot with "eject" button). It will boot on it's own and you just need to select the image. Note that it does not seem to boot for me with my Kinect plugged in.

3d Video Ripping/Coding Thread
06 April 2011 - 07:50 PM
I haven't found a topic for this so let's talk about it. The 3DS has a 3d video of some dogs and cups. Has anyone successfully extracted this video? If so has anyone figured out the file type/codec used?
If we could figure this out we could take SBS or HSBS files and transcode them to a format the 3DS recognizes. It may be early, so we may need to wait for the 3D video recording capabilities with an upcoming update. I just think it would be awsome to watch current 3D movies on the 3DS.

FBbuild 0.1
11 November 2010 - 06:33 PM
fbBuild 0.1
===========
Introduction:
=============
Sad to hear the rumor of ikari stepping down, and even sadder to hear
of the profiteers taking advantage of this... we bring you a tribute
to ikari. If you paid for this, get a refund!
fbBuild is a NAND image builder made to suit freeBoot style images,
the included patches and freboot.bin core are based on the original
works done by ikari.
It is suitable to build rebooter images for all current JTAG exploit
compatible xbox 360's. As with ibuild produced images, this version
only requires a single flash 16MiB in size or larger.
What's New:
===========
- based on targeting kernel 2.0.12611.0
- patches from freeBoot kernel/hv are ported to 12611
- supports both flash tool and ibuild extracted kv/smc_config
- supports injecting Mobile*.dat
- previously revoked usb devices should now work
- kinect works (apply system update for avatars and kinect)
it is strongly recommended that r6t3 be removed
- entirely new image builder (no extraction)
- rebuilt/cleaned core can now boot xell on slot to eject dvd drives
(see bin directory for alternate)
- exploit payload simplified
Current Limitations:
====================
- security files besides KV must be provided in encrypted form
- STAY THE HELL OFF LIVE! Nuff said, we're not you're mum.
How To Use:
===========
- See individual folders for lists of files to provide
- if desired provide replacement cpu and 1bl keys in text files
- open a command window in the fbBuild directory
- on the command line type, for example:
example - if you provided keys in appropriate text files
fbbuild.exe -c falcon -d myfalcon myfalconout.bin
-c falcon = use falcon bl and patch set
-d myfalcon = a folder is present called "myfalcon" with per machine
files
myfalconout.bin = the file that will be produced
- type fbbuild.exe -? for command line info
Note:
=====
- for those of you using donor data, the security files shouldn't pose a
problem but make sure the CPU key you use is from the machine that donated
the kv instead of the target machine you are building the image for.

Without ikari this would not have been possible, thanks!

Thanks and greetz to everyone who has contributed to hacking this
wonderful machine. Thanks to the engineers and countless others who made
the machine what it is... we only wish they had listened and RROD was
not a problem.
Big thanks to the folks at #freeboot on efnet for the tireless
hours of help you all give freely. Big thanks to the testers who made
sure stuff worked.
Don't believe what random people *cough* write on forums ..

I have not tested this yet but a reputable source has. I just found this and figured it to be noteworthy. This allows us to apply the freeboot patches to the newest (as far as I know) kernal 12611. Yes that means You can use the Kinect with Jtags now.
I don't think this upload is illeagal as wasn't build with the 360's SDK. If there is a problem with it, a mod can inform me and I will remove the link. So without further ado...
