Is it possible to downgrade a 5.50 ps3?

Hi all. So I have a ps3 that I've had since November 2009 (I guess that means it's a launch model). And I'm wondering if there's anyway to downgrade it. I heard it's possible with an iPhone... here's the tools I have:

1) Slim PS3 with firmware 3.50
2) iPhone 3g with ios 4.2 jailbroken with redsn0w (can downgrade if necessary)
3) PSP 2000 with 5.50 gen CFW (can dowgrade if necessary)
4) PSP Go with 6.20 TN-A (once again, can modify firmware if necessary)


Is it possible to downgrade or do something with this? Also, is there a custom firmware for the ps3 yet?

I'm using a fat 32 drive. I didn't have this problem when I was using one formatted as wbfs. After looking around, I saw that the suggested fix was getting CIOSX Rev 20b and installing cios 249 base 57, so I got the cios from here:

and installed it like any other. It still just sends me to a black screen after loading any game. Does anybody know how to fix this?

Converting CISO to WBFS?

Can somebody help me with this please. I recently found out about using FAT32 formatting for the usb loader but I have a problem. The games apparently need to be .WBFS files, but a lot of my games are .ciso file. I've been able to convert iso to wbfs with no problem, but I haven't been able to find a way to convert CISO to WBFS. Is there any program that can do this or do I have to convert ciso to iso to wbfs?

Format partition of a hard drive?

Hiya. So, I have this 2 TB external hard drive and got to thinking: Is it possible to format a separate wbfs partition. Like, set 32 GB as a wbfs partition to use with the backup loader, and leave the rest to be used as a normal hard drive?

Better photo app for 3.1.2

I recently downgraded from ios 4 back to 3.1.2 because it was killing my battery and making my phone unbearably slow. However, I recently noticed that the photo app (the app to view photos, not take pictures) on ios 4 seemed to display photos in higher quality, less grainy and allowed me to zoom in. It also used a better sorting system. Does anybody know if there is a way to get the photo app from ios4 onto 3.1.2? Or possibly an app with the same features? App store or cydia is fine. Thanks in advance.
