NMM for Wii released

01 July 2011 - 01:44 PM

Crediar released a new Wii tool that allows you to use a regular SD card to save your GameCube Games. The applied patch will only work in GameCube mode. Currently, only SNEEK is directly supported. Those who wish to use this on their real NAND will need to manually create a MIOS WAD file from the provided .app file.

NOTHING PLAYS 3DS ROMS / 3DS STILL NOT HACKED?

14 June 2011 - 01:44 PM

This is a simple topic to answer some simple questions: "Is there any progress?", "When will the 3DS be hacked?" ....

The answer is right now: We don't know. The 3DS may be hacked next week, next month, next year, ....
There is also a chance it'll never be hacked at all, only the future will tell.

As you may have seen, 3DS ROMs are already being dumped. At the moment, there is no way to play them yet however.
The current NDS Flashcarts can only play normal DS ROMs on the 3DS.
There are also no emulators which play 3DS ROMs, yet.

It is currently unknown whether someone is working on hacking the 3DS system itself.

That is all the available information at the moment. Please do not create any more topics unless you find something new. Thanks!

Update April 12th, 2012: There have been no updates.
And if this thread is still stickied you can probably assume that it is still relevant, future-person. ~Vulpes

Update March 28nd, 2012: Following the usual trend of speculation threads ("when/how the 3DS will be hacked", etc.) ending really bad with flamewars and such, they're now discouraged to be opened.
Feel free to post news about eventual hacking progress coming from a RELIABLE source (3Dbrew.org and such), though. ~raulpica

Know Your Temps: The Pi

QUOTE(KYT info)
Know Your Temps info

For those of you that are new to the game, here are the rules:

  • One user will be put on the questioning stand every two days (or so)
  • Once that user's session of questioning starts, anybody can ask that user a reasonable amount of questions they want via posting on the thread
  • These questions can be about anything. Personal life, GBAtemp/internet life, pet peeves, questions, musical tastes, "what if" situations...anything!
  • Please try to post all your questions at once, in one solid post
  • Upon receiving questions, the user that is in the spotlight can answer them at anytime, as long as it's before their time is up

This quirky little activity will help us get to know our fellow 'tempers even better in an exciting, chaotic manner! Those who have an upcoming KYT session will be notified about their upcoming session via PM.
