I ran an ntpdate on both servers.
But the problem is not syncing them, but rather keeping them in sync.

So what's the difference between this one and he original? Is this a true sequel or an expansion pack?

Cartoon Network: Punch Time Explosion XL
On 3 October 2011, representatives of Papaya Games unveiled a new Developer's Diary featuring the console version of the game, announcing new characters, stages, and new gameplay modes.
In the XL version, there are new Story Mode changes. For example, in the 3DS version of the Ultimate Kevin Levin boss battle, Ben Tennyson was only supposed to attack Kevin and avoid his attacks. In the XL version, Gwen Tennyson shows up to help Ben in the battle with Ultimate Kevin Levin by trapping Kevin's arms with her powers. Also in the XL version, there is a shop where the player can buy playable characters, arenas, alternate costumes, and TV show clips with points they earn while fighting. For example, a clip can be bought from an episode of Samurai Jack where Jack is fighting against Aku.
In the XL version, four of eight (8) new playable characters come those who were non-playable/bosses in the original 3DS version of the game.

Doesn't look like it's a sequel.

Go to any profile and click the "Find all files by (name)" link.
It's been like that for quite a while actually, the recent updates have nothing to do with it.
