I'm using the latest version of Retro's files and every time I go to load the second Prince of Persia game it loads just to the main screen's background and then goes all snow-like and static-y.
Is this a rom issue? I tried reformatting already.

2 Possibly Stupid Newbie Akaio ?'s
07 April 2010 - 05:12 AM
While I'm enjoying my new Acekard more than words can say, I have two really quick/most likely stupid questions some of you Akaio veterans might be able to answer for me. I've come from the DSTT TTMenu world, so that's where my knowledge mainly lies:
1. Is there a way to bypass having to touch to pass the Safety Warning screen when you first boot up your DS? The DSTT used to automatically skip this on its own before loading up its menu.
2. What buttons do I press to soft reset? I have soft reset turned on (I think) in the options but I can't seem to get it to work.
Thanks in advance!

2 Rings Of Death Question
02 April 2010 - 10:43 PM
Hey all, quick Xbox 360 question to get everyone's 2 cents on.
I bought my 360 (elite, 20 gig) back in November of 2007. The following November (2008) it gave me the 3/4ths of a circle RRoD and I sent it in to get fixed.
Flash forward to last month when the system started giving me the half circle of death for overheating. Obviously I'm out of warranty at this point for everything but the 3/4ths RRoD.
So here's my question: if there anyway for me to push this Xbox over the edge into a full Red Ring of Death so it's covered by Warranty? Obviously I'm looking for non-warranty breaking suggestions. My original thought was to not let the system cool down when it shuts itself off and, as quickly as it'll let me, turn it back on and wait for it to shut itself off again. I'm just not sure that'll actually do anything.

If the DSTT is Dying, What's A Good Alternative?
26 February 2010 - 01:05 AM
Just want to pose this question to all former or current DSTT owners who might have tried other flashcarts. Obviously the turnover rate for firmware updates has taken a hit on the DSTT and its current software doesn't seem up to the task of some of the newer games being released in the current time frame.
If I were to upgrade/buy another cart, what's my best option?
I'm looking for one that has the most compatibility/fastest turnaround with an anti-piracy fix for games and would also like one that's as easy to use as the DSTT. If it had additional features like auto-trimming or auto-alphabetized menus, even better. I've heard a lot of praise for the Acekard II, but what's the general consensus for the best replacement for the DSTT out there today?

Anyone have any luck getting this to work on a DSTT yet?
