Sony Brings Bleach To PS3 With Bleach: Soul Ignition

10 November 2010 - 09:19 PM

Sony is finally bringing the Bleach series to PlayStation 3. Jump revealed Bleach: Soul Ignition, an upcoming action game with (at least) Ichigo, Rukia, and Uryu.
The scan shows Ichigo using his Getsuga Tenshou technique and a stage set in Hueco Mundo!? Bleach: Soul Ignition is slated for a 2011 release in Japan.

Jump also mentions new downloadable content Bleach: Heat the Soul 7 coming in December based on "Hell Chapter", an upcoming Bleach movie.

Get your blood on with this GoW: Ghost of Sparta vid

Having just completed all three God of War games back to back I am actually considering buying a PSP only to play the God of War games on it. God of War: Chains of Olympus is supposedly awesome and judging from the new gameplay shown off above, God of War: Ghost of Sparta is going to nail it again.

I'm really digging Ready at Dawn's take on the protection gameplay. Instead of protecting someone from their death (LEON! HELP!) you're taking someone to their death and you also have to protect yourself from them. Pretty clever, but I suppose Ready at Dawn would explain it best so here is what they have to say about the clip:

We’re calling this footage the “Midas Moment” since is shows Kratos’ battle against King Midas. It really showcases the living/breathing world with the environment completely fleshed out with people reacting to Kratos’ presence and every action. The terrain is volcanic with lava all around providing a great glimpse into another part of the world Kratos will explore in Ghost of Sparta and another example of the breathtaking art found in the game. This scene also shows off a more immersive “in your face” battle with up-close and personal brutality. It cinematically presents the brutal, bulldozing force that Kratos exerts to obliterate each and every obstacle in his path (think Poseidon kill in GoWIII). And with the inclusion of King Midas, it seamlessly integrates another popular character from Greek mythology into the GoW universe.

Hold That List! Square Enix Has Another E3 Announcement

10 June 2010 - 07:33 PM

QUOTE
That E3 line up Square Enix sent us earlier today wasn’t complete. Necromachina, a cooperative side scroller with futuristic ninja and giant bosses, is also going to be at the show.

Necromachina was shown in this week’s issue of Famitsu under the name Moon Diver. Feelplus, the makers of Lost Odyssey and more recently No More Heroes: Heroes’ Paradise, are developing Necromachina for PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.

Necromachina looks like Shadow of the Ninja with Contra’s deformed monster design in 2.5D. Definitely curious about this game now.

Batman: The Brave and the Bold - Wii - Debut Trailer

Have any of you played this?

It's better than I expected, although Simon's double jump needs a little work, it's still pretty good.
Also, if you have a gamepad I suggest you use it.
