QUOTE(zeldafn333 @ Feb 19 2009, 10:34 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Small Problem.
I wanted to use Jizmo's Mario menu, and use my own health screen, so I unpacked Jizmos App and the app i already had for my health screen. I replaced Jizmos health.ash with mine, repacked and installed. When I turned the wii on, the health screen loaded fine, but then I froze up while the screen was fading away.
Is there another tool for this? Or did I just do something wrong

Sometimes you can just get a bad load to the nand i've found. Many time if i just reload the same theme it will work. Also sometimes it might make a difference fully powering the wii down. All speculation of course. I suggest you just start with a clean OUT folder to work with. you could parse the existing .app to get the .ash files you want then

I made a New theme tonight. Added it to the web page. Here is the Screenshots. Im actually kinda digging the colors on this one.

People People People..... some of you are not doing preloader right. You only load it once from Homebrew Channel. When somebody says to run it they mean most likey "HOLD RESET WHILE POWERING UP WII" to get to the preloader menu. From there you change settings and hacks. Dont keep running the installer from HBC. Also, if your going to change the .ini file your using, run the hacks remover from HBC before you copy your news hacks.ini to root of SD.

To concert to PAL you can parse the .app file and inject the health.ash, cursor.ash and board.ash into a generic PAL 00000042_app_OUT folder. Then rebuild the .app with u8tool. it's a pretty simple process if somebody wants to undertake it and contact us on EFNET in #softmii... btw, wer'e working on screenshots for the Themes now, the pictures that are currntly liked to are just placeholders for the testing of the web interface. The final screenshot link will be a quad picture of Health Screen, System Menu, Message Board and Cursor Close-up.

Also the Yankees them is undergoing an overhaul bye Axe97 and shoule be ready in a day or two, as well as an updated Playboy theme.

I couldn't help but be sulking or whining, look at Richy Freeway's pic for gods sake! I think that pic alone is enough to set anybody off!

Yea, I suppose because we all can't produce Nintendo's multimillion dollars worth of work from our desks, we should all just stop even trying to change/improve/mod the Wii. You may not like the work but at least it's pushing things forward and appreciated by some people. Feel free not to download and install any of my themes. It won't hurt my feelings.

EDIT: btw, I only a few hours ago became privy to the information about what is causing the corruption when trying to edit the channels panel. It's a pretty tricky issue involving overlapping components and common colors.

Other that a still pic of the ROUND channel windows somebody posted a while back , i've yet to see an actual modified channel panel.
