Hey everyone, just thought I'd post some new videos from my YouTube channel, TDCstudios. We post videos every Sunday, usually comedy videos. Anyways, here's our latest video, Turkeys. Today is Canadian thanksgiving, so we decided to do a thanksgiving special.



Our friend Dario approached us, wanting to make a video, so we agreed to help him out. See if you can catch the video game reference at the beginning.



This is sort of a spoof on documentary style TLC shows. We'll be posting the remaining two episodes soon.

Hey everyone! I just wanted to post a video series that I've been working on for the past few weeks. It's completely improv, as we just decided to go out filming one day, and we ended up with a 6 minute video. We decided to split it up, make it look like a TV show. Some things I want to mention: I do not have a tripod, so some of the shots may look a little shaky. In the next few days I will be getting one. And again, this was all improv. We usually plan out our movies, and if we do decide to go with our idea for Episode 4, it will be more planned out.

It's a serious film for once. For anyone that's been keeping up on my videos, I've taken them all down, as we want to apply for YouTube partnership. That means we have to keep our account free of copyright content. I'll be re-uploading them soon with royalty free music.

Share it with your friends, family, who ever, hit the subscribe button, like the video, etc. We would really like to gain partnership. At this point, however, we only have 49 views (even though my account says 781k...), so we're no where near close now.

Our media arts teacher gave us a bare bones script, and we had to work with it. Unfortunately, we didn't have our HD camera with us, so we had to use the school DV cameras.

We were planning our next big movie, when we decided to go shoot a small movie while taking a break. That break turned into a fairly big movie shoot. Personally, I'm not a fan of the song (I'm a rock/punk/jazz/metal/not pop music kind of guy), but I think the movie is pretty good. The only problem is that we were using an HD camera, and the settings were set to 640x480. I made sure the camera was set to 1080p for our next movies though.

This movie is a compilation of every day awkward moments, and how the main character Randy solves them.

This was my first time using Adobe After Effects, but by the last scene, I had gotten the hang of it. In my opinion, I think the VFX looks odd, because it's in HD, yet the footage was shot in SD. I played around with some HD stock footage after I finished Awkward Moments, and the effects looked better on that. I used clips from the Action Essentials 2 pack to create the blood, shells, and muzzle flashes.
