There was a standard list of songs that I saw in every bemani/pop'n style game that came out for *years*... not to mention in the Karaoke joint I used to frequent. CHA-LA-HEAD-CHA-LA was one of them. I actually checked out the songlist for this game specifically to see how many of the old list were still being recycled.

I expect it is probably a licensing thing - i.e. they have those songs free/cheap so just use them EVERYWHERE. -_-;

Yeah, I don't know where the "hentai in the game" thing came from; as far as I know there is no such thing (and I have the older games).

There *is* a whole bunch of fanart out on the net, though - and a surprising amount of it is nsfw.

Holy crap! I was just telling a friend yesterday about Umihara Kawase Shun and how much I love it (despite being utterly crap at it), and I had NO idea this was even in the pipeline!

...and I just hit the 'bugs'. Yeah, that's gotta be AP - there's no way the hook should be snapping like that.

Damn, I want that! But it looks like it's really difficult to track down. ;_;

I should probably finish building one of my projects that has an inbuilt accelerometer/gyro/compass (vr game gun ph34r.gif ) and hook that up to Stellarium or something.
