Thinking I might get a DS Lite
27 August 2008 - 10:44 PM
Well, seeing as my DS Phat got a scratch on the touch screen, and its casing is getting quite old, and its battery only lasts about 3-4 hours even in GBA mode, I've started thinking about getting a DS Lite. Sadly, I realized I can't trade this in, so I'd have 2 DSes. I also started hearing about all of these problems with the DS lite, are they true? Also, what battery life can I expect with the DS Lite with a Cyclo DS and 3in1 with the brightness setting on 1? Is there any place with cool custom cases, or maybe even a place where I can custom design one for cheap (for the dsl or dsp)? Should I get a new DS Phat case/touch screen/battery, or just buy a DS lite with a custom case?
Ingame guide takes a long time to load
21 August 2008 - 10:01 PM
Like... 20 seconds... I just got the card and (black) cyclo DS about a week or two ago, and the microSD is a 2GB Kingston Japan.
Does anybody know what could be the problem? Or is this just how long it takes for all of the Cyclo DSes to load?

How do I use the ingame menu?

I've tried pushing various buttons, looking on cyclos site, googling... what buttons do I need to press to bring up the ingame menu?
SNES Emulator?

See, I've tried SNEmulDS and on F-Zero it has a ton of errors, and I remember trying another one which wouldn't even work (snesds I think)
Does anybody know any versions of any SNES emulators that work fine?

M3 real and (a gba sp compatible) Slot 2?
03 August 2008 - 05:32 AM
Hi, I'm currently looking foward to buying an M3 Real for my DS Regular.
However, I'd like to know, what slot 2 exactly works with the GBA SP, and how?
I heard this one, the 3in1 might work, but I'm wondering, how do I get data to the card (is it as simple as just booting up my ds and copying it off of the M3s SD card to the slot?), and will it work with an ordinary GBA SP, will it only play GBA roms (or can it use GBC?), and will it give me a boot menu if I have multiple GBA roms as well?
Also, as a side note, I'd also like to hear the compatiblities through emulation on the M3 Real itself.
Thanks in advance.
EDIT : Also, I'm wondering, is this the best slot 1 card like I've heard, or should I aim for the cyclo? Keep in mind I want to play homebrew, and develop it as well.
