Requesting information on NAND emulation please.

27 July 2009 - 01:53 AM

With cIOS rev14, its stated that NAND Emulation is possible with the SD/USB drive.

Is there an application that is to be used?

How is this achievable?

Every single app that uses WiFi Black Screens / Code Dumps!

01 May 2009 - 02:25 AM

When I have my Wii connected to my network, everything works perfectly.

But when I bring my Wii to someplace or have no connectivity/disable WiFi, all apps that use WiFi (MPlayer CE, FCEU GX, SNES GX, etc) either refuse to load and result in a black screen or produce a code dump. (DSI error/exception).

Any help would be appreciated.

Wad Manager 1.3 / Channel File Manager Problem

23 April 2009 - 06:25 PM

Only Wad Manager 1.1 seems to work, but it only runs at USB 1.1 speed.

If I attempt to use Wad Manager 1.3 or the new Channel File Manager Beta 4 with USB 2.0 support, no matter what USB drive is plugged in the slot, it turns off and gives a (ret -1) error.

I have:

- 3.2 U
- IOS 249 r9
- IOS 202 (cios usb2 beta 3)
- IOS 222
- DVDX installed to IOS 202

Both the USB loader and MPlayer CE work perfectly. MPlayer CE plays media files off of USB drives at 2.0 speeds and there are no stutterings or slow downs with the USB loaders at all .

Another person also had trouble with USB devices shutting down when attempting to use Wad Manger 1.3 or CFM. Is there a solution?

Will the coders please fix "Make HBC" in the WBFS tools

02 April 2009 - 08:06 AM

I use Windows XP, and the "Make HBC" command in all of the tools I have used fail to work correctly. Perhaps it wasnt ported from linux correctly, I am not sure. Or perhaps it is my terrible PC though I dont know why only a meta.xml is being made when it says that only a boot.dol and icon would be made and that a meta.xml would have to be made manually.

The purpose of "Make HBC":

QUOTE
wbfs_win.exe X makehbc

*build Homebrew Channel directories for all the games in your partition
This will actually make a directory for each game with the DISCID of the game,
copy the icon.png and boot.dol of the current directory, and make a meta.xml with the name of the game

Then copy all the directories in the apps directory of your sdcard.

Right now, no matter what I do, the only thing that gets outputted is a meta.xml file. I dont see any icon or boot.dol file anywhere in the directories that are being made! frown.gif

My main reason for this functionality: So I can inject each boot.dol into a channel.

I have already started by extracting the banner/icon/sound from each game and now I just need the boot.dol for it to be complete.

This is what it looks like on my system menu:

All it is right now are empty shells just waiting to be complete. Please help them to be complete!

Possible to Customize System Menu 4.0?

26 March 2009 - 06:37 PM

I know that in NTSC firmware 3.2, "00000042.app" is what is installed over to customize the menu.

Does anyone know what ".app" # is used for 4.0?
