What do you mean idiots? They block certain sites because they criticize China not on a rational level, but on a Glen Beck stupidity level. Factual information isn't being covered up.

And even so, I thought they were planning to phase out the great firewall in favor of linking your accounts to your person. An internet where the douches are responsible for what they say? Good stuff. Go to a couple Chinese news sites and look at the comments (learn chinese first). They tend to make Youtube comments look good. I hardly blame them.
