4.3E loading backups from USB

26 February 2012 - 02:47 AM

Hello everyone,
sorry if i post about this but it's ages i don't turn on my wii, and accidentally upgraded it to 4.3E

with my big surprise i noticed that after the reboot the homebrew channel was still in place and that i could load USB Loader GX.
it sees the hard disk (wbfs) and the games appear in the menu but when i try to launch them i'm brought back to the homebrew channel main menu.

ok, for sure the update screwed up a bunch of things, but since it's ages i'm away i feel a bit outdated about my knowledge and many things might have changed during this year, so i wonder if someone can kindly point me in the right direction to get everything back in place in the way it's meant to be done :)

thanks in advice

SMG2 update

12 July 2010 - 09:30 PM

Hello everyone, i've just unpacked my bew shiny supermario galaxy 2 and when i put the disc in it asks me to update my console, is it safe to run the update or is it better to install missing files manually? and eventually does anyone have a tutorial about it?

thanks in advice.

Hello everyone smile.gif

i'm not using my DS since ages, and i have a supercard dsone with a firmware wich is. mhhh paleolitic? biggrin.gif

so i was wondering, does pokemon SS work as a clean dump with the newest firmware? or do i need some sort of patch or anything? couse i cant find the firmware changelog and rom numbering is sometimes screwed up depending on the source.

thanks smile.gif

NSMBW on sneek+di

23 April 2010 - 11:27 PM

Hi all, i really like sneek + DI, and the way it loads backups from disc channel,

the problem is that new super mario bors wii returns me a black screen just after booting it up,

is the bca protection causing issues in sneek? couse i can play other games pretty fine, also monster hunter 3 runs like a charm, but damn, how can i live without NSMBW?

any suggestion on how to fix the problem?

Sneek doesnt boot

18 April 2010 - 01:54 AM

Hello everyone,
i've installed sneek v2 on my sd card following this guide:

http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=218725

apparently everything went fine, but when i plug the sd card into my wii, and start the console,
the wii drive initializes (the usual noise on power on) and then the screen is black and nothing happens.

the problem is that i dunno where to start from to trubleshoot my issue frown.gif
