I have a launch PSP-1000 and I don't know anything about comparison. It is really nice. But is the screen the best or the worst? And is there any system I should buy as a backup that is fully hackable? I'm wondering because my PSP-1000 is from launch so it is pretty old. Hardware doesn't last forever.

It's the worst screen out of the lot, but at least it's fully hackable. If you really want a backup PSP, then have a look at my list. In doubt, ask. Just pick the one which has the features that are most attractive to you.

It looks like either early 2000 series or any 3000 series model. I guess going with 3000 series would be the best bet.

I think he's talking about the hacker convention which didn't say anything about hacking 3DS (or any other modern console for that matter). But I could be wrong.

I don't really need to pirate on this one as long as they keep the prices on games falling down toward around 10 bucks a piece for legit.
