Hello everybody,
I have 2 wiis: One of them is at 4.3u hacked, and the other is at 4.3u unhacked. The unhacked wii has a broken drive, and I am looking to hack it to run from a USB loader. Is there any way I can hack the virgin wii w/o disc drive using my hacked wii? They are also both launch DMS wiis. At some point, the virgin wii had bootmii and priiloader on it, but they don't have the necessary files to go with it. Can it still be triggered?

Please help my Wii's drive

So my neighbor's wii was not reading discs. I thought it was the laser, so I went out and bought a laser for it. I installed it, and its still not reading discs. Now at some point, they had bootmii installed as well as homebrew channel. I don't know if they messed it permenantly, but its still not reading discs, even though its on virgin 4.3u. Why is it acting up like this, and what can I do to fix this?

Hey everybody. I was given a YAOSM chip about 2 years ago, and never got around to soldering it in. Well now I have. Is there an update disc for it? I do not have a programmer, and I was hoping there was an update disc for it.
Wii System Advice

Hi guys. I am currently running a hacked 3.2u system, after 4.0u hacked presented some problems. I really would like to go back, but the random bricking and disk read issues need to be fixed. On 4.0u, I used to wake up to a bricked wii, that could only be fixed with a boot2 flash of bootmii or a preloader ios switch. This was already a nusence, but then discs began to fail being read, and so I decided to go back down to a hacked 3.2u system. I would press power on my wii remote (as my wii was in standby), and it would not start up the wii. Manual start up of the wii led to a health screen brick. This was random, and if the system menu would work, Discs would almost never work. So, im starting off with a hacked 3.2 right know. What I would like to have in 4.0
1: NO MORE FUCKING RANDOM BRICKING
2: Cioscorp type backup loading via disc channel (if any alternates are out there, please list)
3: homebrew channel
4: Custom IOS that will work with metroid prime 1 and 2 jpn
5: USBLoader not wanted, as i have plenty of discs to burn.
6: Bootmii (already there)
7: Preloader
8: Shop Channel access
What is the best method to proceed? Thanks for the future answers!

Is it possible to implement sdhc support in system menu 3.2?
12 June 2009 - 08:38 PM
Nintendo was kind enough to write the code, but can we implement it into system menu 3.2? The only reason i updates was so that i can use my 8 gig card to play my VC games of, but my backup loading has suffered tremendously. Is it possible just to implement the sdhc part into 3.2?
